To revolutionise the computing experience.


LivingInfo Systems started in 1999 with significant modification and customisation of Microsoft Excel and Word. An independent Windows application soon followed, and LivingInfo Systems has expanded from there.


My Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland.
o I have been programming since ~1980, mainly in various flavours of Basic; eighteen months full time in 4th Dimension; plus experience in many other languages.
o Experience in RDBMS and Office-style applications from 1986.
o At least 10 years hardware (surgery). Nothing has beaten me yet. Challenge me!
o Programming in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) from ~1999. [Definitions external links: Wikipedia entry; Microsoft VBA page.]
o Visual Basic (VB5, VB6 and VB.Net 2005 and 2008) from ~2001.
o Miscellaneous: experience with MS SQL Server, and virtualisation using VMWare.
o I am studying MCSD, particularly VB.NET and databases.

I have chosen the New Zealand Kauri (Agathis australis) to be the corporate logo for LivingInfo Systems.
Kauri trees are very strong, and can live for 1000 years, so are a very good representation of Living!
